Blog Post 12/20

I know everyone is busy this time of year so I’m going to keep this one brief.

I’m curious about what your holiday traditions are. Mostly we watch our favorite Christmas movies and open one gift on Christmas Eve. My mom and I would watch White Christmas every year, and I went ahead and watched it on Monday. I also watched Holiday Inn, which was a huge disappointment. I won’t watch that one again. With the kids, I’ve watched Home Alone and Elf. We have a few more to cross off our list, but I can’t forget Christmas Vacation.

Our family is split between ham and turkey, so we end up making each. Mashed potatoes, stuffing (or dressing depending on where you live), green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce from scratch are the must-haves on our holiday menu.

If you’re traveling, be safe.

I’m grateful to you for supporting me as an indie author. I appreciate each and every one of you that takes the time to read my blog posts and takes the time to like, comment, or share my social media posts. You may not know it, but you’re helping me make my dreams come true.

Merry Christmas. Happy holidays.

Lara

Our favorite movies are It’s a Wonderful Life, and Family Man. Of course our traditional The Grinch (original cartoon version), Rudolph, and Frosty. On Christmas Eve, is the reading of Twas The Night Before Christmas, and emptying of the stockings. Christmas day is just open gifts, cinnamon rolls , and for dinner, the traditional Lasagna.

You have quite a year Lara, and I am wishing you so much more success on top of what you are already experiencing. Much love on this and every day.

    Denise

    • Those are great choices! Being together is the most important aspect, of course. Merry Christmas, and I know the new year is bringing great things for us all.
